The ARABESQUE-SINGLE is a steel wall bracket suitable for wooden bars with a diameter of 40mm. Unlike many other brackets, the ARABESQUE has a cylindrical saddle wide enough for holding two wooden bars and strong enough to handle a broad range of uses from dance to fitness workouts.
Each ARABESQUE can hold the joining together of two wooden beams. This allows your studio space to have one continuous stretch of bar without any gaps between one beam to the next. It also means you won’t need as many brackets to support your bar. The wooden beams slide into the bracket and are fastened with small hidden screws to prevent the bars from moving inside the saddle. We offer a range of different length wooden beams for the ARABESQUE.
Because of the cylindrical saddle design, the ARABESQUE-SINGLE can handle pressure from a user pushing and pulling on the bar in any direction. Standard wall brackets are designed to only resist pressure from top down weight, which make them unsuitable for barre workouts. Because many workouts involve exercises that have their users pulling on the bar away from the wall, the wooden beam in a standard bracket would tear free.
